Sizzling chicken with ginger and onion

Ingredients:

  • 200g chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped ginger
  • 0,5 onion, sliced into long stripes
  • 2 tsp of vegetable stock powder
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • 1 tbsp of water
  • 1 tbsp of sweet chilli sauce or ginger chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • a pinch of pepper
  • 5 spring onions finely sliced

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with half of the vegetable stock powder, half of the sugar and half of the ginger for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil to medium-hot and add the remaining ginger. Stir for one minute
  3. Add marinated chicken, stir until it changes colour
  4. Add onion, water, sweet chilli sauce and remaining vegetable stock powder and sugar. Stir for 2 minutes
  5.  Garnish with spring onion and pepper.
